Introduction

Over the last several years I have become enamored with Family History. There is something deeply satisfying with researching one's roots and finding out things that have been forgotten. In a very real sense, it is like coming home after being away for a long time. Things are murky, yet familiar.

I've created this blog to help me record my family history journey. I have the hope that others will find this useful as well. Please comment if you have questions, would like to discuss something related to the posts, or if you have anything to add to it.

I am starting with my paternal grandparents, Leonard and Delphia Hull, and will trace their roots. I may later add my maternal side, which is more difficult since they are Australian rather than American.

Within these pages and posts, I am going to attempt to link to sources. If it is from one of the large family history sites, I will try to use the following icons as a link to the source on that web page.


I hope this blog is useful and helpful to those that have connections to my relations.  Hopefully this blog will be added to and be updated consistently. Feel free to contact me with questions or information regarding my ancestors and relatives.
